Our goal is to help Poplar Bluff's feral and stray cats, one colony at a time, through Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) and rehabilitation. We have already begun with our Misfit Colony. Providing cats with veterinary care, spay/neuter services, and a safer future. Once we complete this colony, we'll move on to the next colony working together to reduce suffering, prevent overpopulation, and give every cat the care and compassion they deserve.

Paws, People, and Purpose is your go-to first responder for animals in distress or facing life-threatening situations. With a hands-on approach to problem solving, we ensure that we address the urgent needs of these animals quickly. After providing immediate assistance, our team works diligently to secure either temporary foster care or permanent homes for them.

We have partnerships with Hicks Animal Hospital, Dexter Veterinary Clinic, and the Henry Wrinkles Foundation. We transport community pets to and from The Henry Wrinkles Foundation, providing families access to low-cost spay and neuter services. By helping the community with transportation, we make it easier for pet owners to get their pets altered & vaccinated and help prevent unwanted litters in the community.

We also have a new addition to the family. Her name is *Amber the firefighters at station one found her when they went out to a call. She was covered in maggots. She’s only three weeks old and has been seen at Dr. Hicks twice now she was given an antibiotic construction and a capstar upper butt to kill all the maggots and the fleas as she’s doing good. She’s gained an ounce. She’s a fighter. She’s not out of the woods yet so keep sending prayers, but being positive that she’s gonna make it she did lose an eyeball so that’s gonna have to be sown up but besides that all is good
